Sujan Adhikari, Bharat Krishnan and Anthony Scolaro
First-year full-time MBA candidates, Sujan Adhikari, Bharat Krishnan and Anthony Scolaro traveled to Cleveland, Ohio to represent the LSU Flores MBA Program at the 14th Annual KeyBank & Fisher College of Business MBA Minority Student Case Competition on Feb. 23-25.
Twenty-eight MBA teams were tasked with a mission to figure out how to build trust so that more KeyBank users felt empowered to use its proprietary Financial Wellness application to build wealth. The LSU Flores MBA team thought both in and outside of the box to come up with ideas involving an inbound marketing campaign and an algorithmic investing tool to let users become more confident in their financial health.
While the team did not move on to the finals, each team member confirmed he had an incredible case competition experience. The team networked with KeyBank executives, connected with MBAs from across the United States and enjoyed touring the city of Cleveland.
Krishnan shared, “KeyBank was an immersive experience. The staff truly cares about the MBAs; you get the opportunity to network with incredible colleagues; and you get to present in front of executives who value your input. The case competition experience began with a month-long preparation process that presented the kinds of difficult challenges MBAs should expect to face in their professional lives and ended in a satisfying display of talent that motivated us to want to be even better next year and beyond.”
